Shift Position sensor wiring
I have a 95F150 with E4OD trans. Every time it rains the truck won’t start. I’ve been spraying wire dryer on different electrical components and think I found the issue to get the truck to start. For about a day after I get it started it won’t shift out of 1st gear unless I manually shift the truck into 2nd. I attached an image of the spot under the truck that I sprayed with wire dryer. I know that the harness connects to the shift positioning sensor. But I need to know what that harness is called so I can buy a new one.

Wrong spot. That's the ESOF motor, on the transfer case. The MLPS is on the driver's side of the transmission, forward of that, beside the front driveshaft. And it's not the wires that need to be dry - they can be soaking-wet, or even submerged & still work fine. The problem is INSIDE the sensor, and it can't be fixed. The sensor has to be replaced with the new design, and the connector has to be re-pinned (which is easier than it sounds). Click this & read the caption:
