Default Shift Kit?

FWIW -
https://www.f150forum.com/f89/e4od-rebuild-232305/

Details of the shift kit I installed in my Daughter's 91 now has nearly 220K
on original Trans.

I'm a big fan of Trans-go and some Sonnax parts.

I have a shift kit installed in the 91 F150, my 1993 Lincoln Town car and my 1996 Impala SS.
They do a great job of improving the drivability and "fun" factor as well as increasing longevity from reduced slippage/ heat!

Truck was set up more for HD/ Towing, The SS will bark the tires on the 1-2 shift anytime I want and the old Town Car will even do it on a cool night if i hit it "just right". ALL of these Tranny's have exceeded the 200K mark!

I'm going to be daily driving it for this summer til I get another truck but the truck I have now is mostly going to be a mud truck. Would a shift kit help any bit. I'm not really sure how one works. Never really looked into them much. Thanks
