I recently replaced my TPS due to CEL and OBD I code said TPS was bad using motorcraft original sensor. Interesting how much that little sensor does for you! In addition to the usual: engine rpm surging, occasionally won't start when warm, etc. I discovered my 4R70W AT shifts normally now as well! It used to be very hesitant to upshift, and it wouldn't downshift at all when passing. Now it acts like a normal new tranny! Oh, I don't have that annoying CEL anymore, either! Next project is finally replacing all the vacuum lines...
