Default Question

Hi went and got my transmission fluid changed but have developed a leak after one year and 2000 kilometres so I took it back and was told had a couple of bolts that needed to be re torqued .also said one bolt was spinning around I asked how that happened and was told metal fatigue they put a bit longer bolt in and some sort of washer .
Does all this sound correct
Thanks

Many times the bolts will seize, taking out the threads upon removal. This happens mostly on the rear bolts on the pan because the holes go through the case and are open on the other end and corrosion sets in. A longer bolt and sometimes backing it up on the bolt's end with a nut will do the trick.
Retapping the hole and installing a slightly larger bolt works too.
