Default po414 code. What does this mean ?

I have a 96 F 150 with the 5.0 5 speed 2wd. I got a check engine light and had the computer scanned. It came up with code po414, which is secondary air bypass a solenoid short circuit. What does this mean, and how do I fix it? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

P0414 means the Air bypass solenoid is either shorted or open. This means the solenoid that controls the air bypass for the smog pump isn't working, either from bad wiring or the solenoid is shot. I don't know which solenoid is bad, the bypass has 2 of the. If you have a multimeter, you can test to see if the solenoid valves are receiving power which should be around 12v or test the resistance of the solenoids, should be between 50 and 100 ohms.
