Default 1995 f150 5.0 EGR/SMOG delete

Have a 1995 f150 5.0 that I am putting headers on. Do I need to do the egr and smog delete? Or what would be the best option. I am going to run 2 1/4 pipe to dual 18 in cherry bombs and have them exit behind the cab in front if the rear tire. And have 3 in tips. I'm looking into boosting the motor when the funds are right I just dont know if I wanna go super charger or turbo. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
- side note when I cut the muffler off and started it to hear what it sounded straight piped. There was a little bit of white smoke like when warming up in the winter. What could be the cause of that. Head gasket or intake?? Thank you guys so much!

when I started it up it was in the middle of July at 5 in the afternoon. The cold start was a reference of what it was looking like.
