Default Part Identification

I am trying to ID a part on my 1996 Ford F-150 5.0. The part in question starts with a vacuum line coming out of the right side of the Throttle Body between the dual inlets. It connects to a black plastic tube that connects to a valve/sensor near the right side upper firewall. Any info appreciated.

Sounds like you are talking about the evap solenoid. It should have two lines: one goes to the throttle body, the other goes to the charcoal canister.
If you add pics we can confirm.
