Default Open Diff.

Hi. I blew up my old 9" rear end on my 1979 f150 and got a new one from a junk yard. The only problem i have with the rear end is that its open, and i want limited slip. Now i know i can just weld it up but i don't want to do that, since i only have a arc machine and I tend to splatter. Is there any way other way to make the differential limited slip?

First, wrong section.
Second, welding the spider gears does not give you limited slip, and turns it into a spool. Not a good choice for a DD.
Third, yes, buy a limited slip 3rd member.
