It's a Canadian thing eh!
Lol pull the engine. Thats the hard way to do it
You don't even need to drop the oil pan, unless you are doing the gasket too.

Seems like I had to remove my oil pan to replace the rear main on my 94 302.
I did not pull the motor, but did raise it a bit for clearance, dropped the oil pan enough to get the oil pump pulled, then pan came out. the rear main seal is two piece, half in the oil pan the other half in the block. Google rear main seal replacement... there are lots of videos out there. Thanks to those guys that post vids of their work.

It occurred to me today that since you have the 302, I have no clue if you have the 2 piece seal or the 1 piece, and the main bearing cap would have to come off.

Good afternoon y'all. Relatively new owner of a '93 F150 XLT, 5.0 Liter V8. My HOA had her towed away last week because she was sitting there for few days... *****holes!
Now I have a new oil leak. Checked it out... the oil pan and gasket look OK, the drip is coming from the bellhousing.
Pic attached. Sure looks like there is supposed to be a plug there! I haven't been able to locate any info in the forums... Does anyone know what the part number for the plug is?
Thanks for your help. Rob

Update: Bellhousing dust plug. Ford part number E9TZ-7N171-A. Still not sure why there is fluid in there... transmission fluid may have been forced in there when she was towed. I'll clean it up and keep an eye on it
