Default Oil Catch Can

Doing long awaited work on this 91'. Only had it a few years. Its a shame that people can not take better care of a vehicle. My dad has a 94'. Its immaculate. I really like that front end better, however this was cheap and I am going to as extreme as I can to make it better.

I think I am having injector issues among many others. So the upper plenum comes off. First thing I notice is that it looks like it has been off before, because the EGR port on the plenum looks like some one put some sort of plug in it. IT is not carbon.

Now about the catch can. This plenum has so much oil coming out of it from where? I assume the PCV valve. Pain in butt to change with the plenum over it. I have seen catch cans mentioned for some of the newer vehicles. Does one think that it could be of benefit on this one?
