Need short block advice
Quick summary: I have a '94 F150 with the following mods:
The engine threw a rod and I plan to replace the block with a 347 short block. I'm debating between this TRE build and this Coast build. I'm on a budget and still have a lot of other work to do to the truck so cost is a concern. Obviously I wish to reuse all the above listed parts. Can somebody with more knowledge than I have help me decide between the two blocks or suggest another in the same price range? The truck is meant to be a daily driver. I have neither the knowledge nor the time to build my own block. I just want good power, reliability, good sound, and fun to drive.
