I have a 1987 F150 2WD, single cab, 300 inline 6, with a 4 speed manual trans. I've recently had symptoms of a bad 3rd gear synchro. I'm trying to find parts for the transmission but I can't figure out which one I have. The VIN sticker says a trans code of "B". Some sites say it's a T-85, some say a SROD and I think I saw one other type on another site. Does anyone have a trans code chart for later model f150's? And also does anyone know good sites for manual transmission parts? Thanks guys and gals!
