I have a 1994 F150 4.9l 4WD auto with trans code E. The speedo bounces it was bouncing at 40mph and I replaced the VSS with a Motorcraft one as recommended in several forums and now it doesn't start bouncing until about 65mph and the trans is shifting hard. Everything seemed to start at the same time but I'm not sure if it is related. The truck doesn't rev high when it shifts hard and it almost seems random and more frequent after driving for a while. no engine light and o/d button doesn't seem to do anything either. Any help is appreciated. last thing I want to do is put a bunch of new parts on and then have to have the transmission rebuilt.

Check fuses, check for any codes. First steps I always take.

 

I've went through all the fuses and relays already
