inertia switch

Default inertia switch

I have a 93 with a 4.9 and the m5od trans. it is an XL. would it have a fuel pump shut off inertia switch? I have a chilton that says it does but I cannot find it. Where would it be located?

Yes it will have the inertia switch, its located behind the right side kick panel on the passenger side.

Thanks for the helpful reply. I tear into my own truck all the time. In fact i was in that very panel the night i started this thread. I didnt even notice the switch as i was more focused on running a switch wire for an emergency start solenoid.
