Default Help please

so i just bought my first truck. a 91 f250 351w a month ago.. i looked under it today and saw this leaking. can anyone tell me what it is? its the white cylinder thing in the picture.. the top left of the picture is heading to the top of the engine. Please help?

I believe that is the oil filter. Simple fix, it's a new to you truck. Change it when you change the oil.

Well I hear people say no fram all the time but from my personal experience with the few I have run in the past they ALWAYS leak on me.
