Default front differential

Ok so when i put my truck (1995) in 4x4 only 1 wheel spins so i was gonna buy a locker but I'm not sure what to look for since its in the front i like the eaton e-locker and i found it for a 8.8 31 spline and that works for the rear so what do i need to look at for the front?

Power to 3 wheels the drivetrain can handle, to a point. If all 4 wheels are locked and you get traction, that's when things bind up and break. So to put a locking diff up front, you would want something you can control with a switch (vacuum or electric) and only lock the front diff in very low traction conditions like ice, snow, mud.

all i know is the front diff is a dana 44. your f150 is like my 1995 fs bronco so it should have the 44 logo on rear of the front diff housing. i am looking to lock my diff aswell
