I have a 96 f150, 6" lift with 35s I dogs going up hills and off the gate at red lights or stop signs I do some mudding and hill climbing but mostly city and high way driving what a good gear for the beat of both worlds?

Do you know what gears you have now? 2 or 4 wheel drive?

 

Stock is 3.08. 4wd I'm thinking 3.73

 

If you have 3.73 now, going to 4.10 would only change it ten percent. Not a lot for having to change both front and rear gears sets.

You might want to go to 4.56 gears. Have you considered removing the lift and going back to stock size tires?

 

What's 4.56 like on the highway have you had them before?
