Talking EGR pipe

Hello, when I bought my truck the EGR system was disconnected (I do not know how exactly) There is an egr pipe that goes into the intake manifold. I was wondering if anyone knew what size plug I need to plug this hole seeing as at the moment the pipe does nothing. I have bought an EGR block off plate but was also wondering if yall knew of any other ways I could de clutter all the egr stuff (wires, pipes, etc.).

Thank You, Bennett

If you want to declutter it, take off the distributor & plug wires. Toss the injectors. Get rid of all that nasty wiring.

Engine parts attached to the engine are not "clutter". When you become an automotive engineer, you can re-engineer the engine. Until then, it will run best if you maintain & repair it the way Ford designed it to run. ALL its systems, including the EGR.

Apologies, I think there was a misunderstanding. Half of the EGR components have been removed. Not simply unplugged. The entire system has been bypassed. Some previous owner did that, not me. The truck has ran great for thousands of miles without it so that is why I am not interested in spending the money on basically an all new system. Currently this pipe serves no purpose other than plugging that hole. It leads to nothing. It is a 12 inch long plug. I was just wondering if anyone else has removed said pipe and knew what size plug I'd need.

No misunderstanding; that's exactly what I understood you to mean when I wrote my first reply.
