Default E4OD wtf issues

Hey y'all,

This truck has been the biggest PITA I've ever come across. After replacing damn near EVERYTHING from the wheels up (brakes, steering, engine, mounts, tires, etc.) my E4OD trans decided it does NOT want to shift into second.

So far I have replaced the filter, refilled oil, and adjusted the line pressure. The fluid level is ok, so far as I can tell, but there are bubbles on the dip stick reading over the hatched mark. It will go in to all the indicated gears (P, R, N, OD, D, 1) but when I took it for a test drive, the rpm's kept going higher and won't shift into 2nd. I'm not a total moron, I don't think, but something is definitely wrong and I can't find the problem.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Also, I noticed a little bit of trans fluid in the radiator when I was filling with water. There was very little fluid in it but just enough to notice it floating in the water.

Are you sure you have an E4OD? That gear order sounds completely wrong. What year is your truck and what trans code is on your door sticker (if its the stock transmission)?

It's a 1990, door code is missing. I was told the 14 bolt pan was for the E4OD, the only identifying mark on the trans the "automatic overdrive" stamped into the pan.
-edit-
Door code is T, I apologize for misleading you. Google says it's an AOD.

Its fine. Everyone makes mistakes. Just want to make sure you get help for the right transmission.
