Hello all this will be a bit long winded but I don't know what to do I've rebuilt three or four E4od's out of a 95 and 92 f150 and f250. recently smoked the transmission in my 250 so I'm rebuilding the trans. truck is a 92 250 with a 95 150 transmission thing drove fine till it ran out of fluid from leaking into transfer case .tore the thing apart and the forward clutch end Plate had split in half so I replaced the whole forward clutch with one from a different year transmission when I finally got done rebuilding i went to seat the pump and it made a loud pop I took it back out and it had shattered the thrust bearing below the pump any ideas as to why. it's the second time it has happened to me while using this forward clutch
