Default E40D problems

I just swaped the tranny in my ‘92 f150 xlt 4x4 with E40D trans. Everything is hooked up right and the tq converter is seated all the way, and I went to test drive it and it try’s stalling after i move about 4 feet or so. I pulled the codes and i got multiple solenoid failure codes, and tq converter selonoid failure. I figured it might have been because it has been setting for a bit, so i let it warm up to operating temperature and still the same issue. I might be about a quart low on fluid when i checked it warm, but i dont know if that would cause the stalling issue. Id say it feels like the tq converter is locking up before it should.
