Lower coolant hose blew and all the coolant that came out is pink. why is it pink? i thought head gasket, but the oil is perfect. the engine runs normal. does anybody have any suggestions?

Years ago, I had an 85 F-150 302 auto and my trans cooler in the bottom of the radiator had leaked in to my coolant and it looked like that. Changed radiator and flushed the block and heater core. I also change the trans fluid. I had no more problems.

Ugly
Yes, check the trans fluid quick
Any coolant in the trans is a death sentence for it
I'd use a can of Ford cooling system flush it and clean the trans fluid from the cooling system and replace the radiator
Pressure test that cooler once the radiator is out to verify
