Angry Codes - EGR advice

Idiot light on, codes:

23 TP/FIPL Sensor out of range
32 EGR (EVP/EPT) signal too low
33 Insufficient EGR Flow
63 Throttle position signal RIPL too low

Started with EGR removal. Tube is clear, EGR appears to move. Will clean EGR and replace gasket.

Should the vacuum line that attaches to the back of the EGR be sealed? When I put air to it, it flows thru...

Could the issue be the sensor on top of the EGR, is there a way to test it?

Does anyone have any idea what the throttle position FIPL codes are, and what I need to do?

Thank you!

The Haynes book reads:
23 TP sensor out of self test range
32 EVP voltage below closed limit
33 EGR valve opening not detected
63 TP circuit below minimum voltage

With that being said, I would probably change the EVP and TPS and see what that gets you for codes.

Also note, I am not a mechanic by trade. It's just my best educated guess.

I'm with memorize, don't blame the EGR its self but the EGR vacuum solenoid that tells the computer what's going on.

I don't know about the FIPL

And if you are talking about the yellow vacuum hoes on top of the EGR then that should connect right to the EGR vacuum solenoid

When you give it gas does it lag or sputter? If so then TPS is bad/going bad.

Thank you both.

The vacuum hose comes out the back of the EGR runs behind the engine over to driver side fire wall area and goes into a solenoid which has other vacuum lines. This is the EGR Vacuum solenoid?

Yes it does lag sputter when giving it gas, but primarily from a stop.
