I have a 89' F150 4x4 short bed 302ci 5 speed manual. Truck is in nice shape. Its a second vehicle so often times it will sit for 2 or 3 weeks at a time. So yesterday I took it to Walmart. Ran fine the 12 miles or so there. Stop to fill up and when I went to drive off the clutch pedal went to the floor and stayed there but did not disengage. I lifted it up a couple of times with my toe but again when I stepped on the pedal it just stayed on the floor and drove like the clutch was out. I managed to drive it home which is a great story for another day. Went outside today and did a bunch of looking. Fluids were all good. The pedal assembly bushings look perfect. I then pushed the pedal and it feels normal. It disengages as it should and no longer remains on the floor. Anyone have and ideas on what could of happened? Why did it not disengage? Why did it not spring the pedal up off the floor as it should of? Why did it fix itself? Im at a loss???? Thanks for your help! Ray
