You can do it in about 3 hours with a friend or a trans jack. i found it was easier for me to manhandle the final alignment to find the sweet spot than having it on a trans jack...your results might be different. Personally, i would change the master cylinder at the same time. Might as well change the ATF in the trans too...(yes,it takes ATF!) lol

Lol I'm mechanically inclined but the terms no idea atf? And right now the transmission is binding and can't get it off any tips or tricks

Put the hose back on the slave and push the clutch in.

I have nothing in the clutch its stuck to the floor when I removed the hose

Pull up on the peddle and try again. It may not need much to break it loose.

Appreciate the idea but that still did not do the trick working on cars is showing me that I don't have patience sorry trucks lol it feels like its binding on the right side when I try to wiggle it free

Did you take the starter off? If not disconnect the battery and pull the starter off.

ATF Automatic Transmission Fluid.

Put the driveshaft yoke back in the tailshaft and have a buddy or your wife wiggle it back/forth while your trying to separate the trans from the engine...(my wife always looks a little sexier with a little grease/dirt on her LOL)
