Hi
So starting to take a look at the engine of my 94 F150 5.0 and really don’t know what this is
canister looking with a hose coming from it and it’s cut off.
Not sure where that hose is suppose to go to or do

If anyone can help it would be appreciated

 

That canister is a silencer for the air pump, the hose should be routed down below the blower motor.

Is that red wire hooked up to the battery?

 

No.It’s not hooked up to anything
i asked on another thread in electrical.It has been like that running parallel to a white wire across the front of the truck then into the harness but hasn’t been hooked up to anything
