First off I know EFI doesn't have a choke. The engine has about 25,000 miles on the rebuild and had been running great up till about a 9 months ago. Now whenever I start my truck after about 30 seconds it acts like its loading up and if you try to drive it there is a severe hesitation unless you put your foot to the floor. This goes away after a couple miles and then it runs fine. Over the last 9 months of trying to resolve the problem here is what I've replaced. Map Sensor, EGR, O2 Sensor, Distributer, Ignition module, Idle Air Control Valve, TPS Switch, Intake Air temp sensor, Engine water temp sensor, Computer, Coil, Spark Plugs. Prior to problem both tanks and fuel pumps had been replace. Checked the fuel pressure regulator. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Does anyone have ideas???

Sounds like u just need it to warm up.

Check vacuum hoses and check for codes.

I did do a smoke test on the vacuum system. That's how I found out the EGR was leaking. It's not setting any codes that's why I changed the computer.
