Default 91 f150 No Reverse

I have a 1991 f150 with a 5.0 and M5OD-R2 transmission, I was driving my truck and was coming to a stop then noticed it didn't really want to come out of gear, I got it out of 5th but when I went to take off I was hearing a whine from the transmission so I pulled over and got it towed. I added less than a quart to the transmission (I dont have the rubber plugs at the top of the transmission as I found out about them after) the whine got much quieter and pretty much went away. I wanted to see if it was the clutch so I put the clutch in, put it in neutral then heard a quiet noise only when the clutch Now first and second gear feel normal, third and fourth gear seem to take some force to put in but im not sure if thats from the gear alignment that can be seen in the pictures. fifth gear goes in but also takes some force and it wont go into reverse. when I take the shifter out without removing the top of the trans I notice that it seems the 5th/reverse section never fully goes to neutral. I have taken the top off the transmission and everything with that moves fine. currently my only idea is that its not completely coming out of 5th if you look at the 5th/reverse photos. Im just trying to get some ideas of what went wrong or if anyone else has anything similar happen. Im trying to see whats too warn, wrong or broken because to me most everything looks alright beyond some wear on the shifting forks but im not sure what too much wear is. I will put in pictures of the forks tomorrow.
