Good evening everyone.

Currently looking at swapping a 94 302 maf coming front a f150 automatic into a 91 f150 auto with original 302 efi.

I have the donor truck park beside it with full wiring harness and computer.

since the donor is maf, will it be easier to swap the full harness and ecm from the 94 into the 91 ?
if not, what can be easier.

The '92-96 wiring harness sections & bulkhead connectors do not fit the holes in the '87-91 firewall. To make them fit, you'd have to cut out & swap some pieces of the donor firewall.

A MUCH-better swap would be to put the '94 cab onto the '91 chassis, but you'd have to keep the '91 wiper valance, hood, fenders, & bumper. What's wrong with the '94? Can you just repair it, and drive it? We can't really help you without seeing several pics of each truck, and knowing each one's history.

 

The 91 truck is a supercab 4wd and the Frame is mint condition exept the box wheel well and engine start having typical oil pan leak and etc with high mileage. The 94 is a 2wd that have rust free box. Also very low mileage, 91 000 km.
if I use my own harness from the 91, and not using the maf, will it work or internal part need to be switch also . I heard the firing order might also be different ?
