Hello, i currently have a 87 f150 that wont start. It ran fine for awhile until one of the screws on the distributor rotor fell out and ripped up the rotor. I replaced that then it wouldnt start so i tried redoing the timing from scratch but all i get is sputtering then dies out. its getting plenty of fuel and their is spark. i found that the jumper wires for timing were melted a bit and was touching together, could that possibly mess up the timing before i tried redoing it? Thanks
