Default 4x4 Part Problem

Hey guys I have a question regarding the front 4x4 on my truck. I have a 1991 F150 XLT Lariat with the push button auto 4x4. I am redoing the front end due to my truck needing all new ball joints and inner and outer bearings as well is it just needing to be done. I was able to replace inner and outer bearings and races on driver and passenger sides as well as ball joints on passenger side. The problem I am having is 1) driver side spindle is seized on so I will have to get this to a shop to have them change the ball joints 2) the main problem is that the outer bearings that sit in the cap assembly, the small set of bearings (1k106 in diagram below), completely fell apart on both sides when removing initially. I cannot find replacements anywhere and have searched everything and every possible word combination to try to find these. Any and all help is appreciated!!!

You might look at replacing the current hub lock out to a manual one, Several of the big makers (Warn, MileMarker) have complete kits to make the switch. Those bearing sets should still be readily available at most parts stores,

I just went through my front end a month ago. my drivers side spindle was also rusted on. i had to get a friend to help me but i had laying around about a 2" diameter pipe about 3 feet long. it slid over the spindle loosely so that it didnt touch the machined bearing surfaces but was inside the 6 bolt pattern that hold the spindle onto the knuckle. with 1 person running a sledge hammer and the other holding the pipe we beat the end of the pipe in a couple times, then took the pipe off and with a block of wood hit up and down a couple times. continuing this many times finally broke the rust loose.

as for your automatic hubs, i cant help there. i have a manual transfer case with warn lock outs.

This is how the spindle should be removed:

The bearing you indicated is not available separately. It is included in a repair kit, which is extremely rare to find nowadays because those 5-screw auto hub locks haven't been made in decades.

Any recommendations for manual locking hub brands for making the switch? Also, I believe that I had a parasitic drain at the 4x4 push button switch in the dash. I had to remove the fuse, which now disengaged the auto door locks. If I make the change to manual hubs, would you recommend just disconnecting the 4x4 push button on the dash thus alleviating that drain and re-insert the fuse? Thanks everyone for the assistance.

The ESOF dash switch doesn't have power, so it can't be a battery draw. They're ground switches that only go directly to the ESOF module. Only the indicator lights have power, and if they were draining the battery, you'd see them lit up, and it would take weeks for the battery to die (just like without any drain).

Any manual hub lock is OK.
