Hey guys the other day I went to put my 89 f150 in 4x4 and it wont work at all. I jacked up the front end and disconected the rear drive shaft and put it in 4x4. The axles spin on both sides of the ttb, the front drive shaft is spinning and I just rebuilt the driver side hub. I have not pulled the passenger side hub appart yet but it seems like its locking in fine. Im really not sure where to go with this, any help would be great.

 

I may not be understanding you right but you since you're saying the front driveshaft is spinning and the axles to both tires are spinning then I would say your hubs are bad.
