Hey new here.. my name is jake, heres my story. I just bought a 96 f150 4wd with a 302 and 4R70W trans. The guy before me snapped the front drive shaft and ripped the wiring harness in half.... and his fix was twist wires together and electric tape......a well job done too. So i re-did this mess with solder and heatshrink. The problem is now, when you shift into drive it wants to take off in 3rd.. down shift to 1 and takes off in 2nd.. so all i have is reverse second and third. I have taken the pan off tested the solenoids with both an ohm test and air. Now im stumped. Cant find any broken wires in the internal wiring. Ive checked the obvious stuff. If anyone has any input id really appreciate it thanks.
