4.9 w/ clutch problems
I'm having a hard time getting my truck in gear when the engine is running. It doesn't seem like the gears are separating enough to get into gear. I have a hydraulic clutch and I bled it it seemed to help a little but do I need to change something else?
i replaced the slave cylinder and im still having trouble bled it and finally got clean fluid. the master was replaced also . but the pedal is still to the floor. been looking at the assembly cant find anything wrong. got this neutral switch on the rod but the clip is broken put a couple of twist ties to hold it on to ride on the shaft .and have to short the selinoid to start it . why it wont build up pressure is the a vacuum hook up somewhere?
It's a Canadian thing eh!

You just gravity bleed it till a stream of fluid comes out on the bleeder, close the bleeder, fill. the reservoir and keep pumping. Sometimes it just takes a while.
tried a little this mornin hand pumping it sort of have a small odd pedal.sort of spongy but il try again some this afternoon and see what happens. thanks for the detail its a work out . if it stays spongy should i bled real quick or just keep pumping til it works thanks
