Like anything, it can cost as much or little as you want to pay. And prices in your area are not necessarily the same as prices near me or anyone else. But there are no "crate" (factory-new) 5.8Ls - everything will be reman or used. Jasper has a good warranty, and when they deliver the correct engine, it's typically good. If you're near one of their distribution centers, and they deliver the wrong one, they're usually pretty quick to bring the right one. I've installed several (professionally & as a hobbyist), and I own one now (that someone else installed). Many parts stores handle Jasper, if there's not a dealer near you.
