I have tried to attach a short video of my 1994 F150 XLT
just got it as a project and heard it run a while back but did a few things to it before starting it up
it started ok but it has a tick for sure and was wondering if anyone can say whether it’s an exhaust manifold thing or rings etc
its a project and replacing the brakes ,front end but want to make sure it’s running ok

Instead of the sender described in this caption, connect any cheapo parts-store mechanical oil pressure gauge temporarily, just to see what the engine is making. Don't install it in the dash - just run it out the back of the hood & tuck it under a wiper so you can see it while driving.
