Spring codes
My 1994 F150 has a spring code "J" and "N" on the door. When i go to www.car-parts.com only one recycler has springs with code "J" and they are grade "C" which means more than 200k miles on the part and they want $35/each...
Now are any f150 springs interchangable??? I mean can i put a spring with code lets say "L" into my truck? Several recyclers have springs with code "L" for $20/each in grade "A" condition which means less than 60k miles.
At this point I want to keep stock ride height so I don't need alignment bushings.
My goal is to get this truck back on the road for the least amount of money. It runs and drives but needs at least $200 in parts to be reliable... Since i bought the truck for super cheap, I don't want to spend much money on it.
