Default Sketchy quick fix?

Need to replace the rear brake lines but can't for bit (waiting on parts) could put a bolt in the line going to the rear to block the fluid and then just use front brakes? Would just be around the farm not on the road what do you guys think?

Bolt would work, I have seen the lines cut, bent over and flatted with a sledge hammer, vise grips and so on.

Likely not safe, but a reasonable person behind the wheel would be fine. Just make sure you have "some" brakes.

I would just disconnect the lines at the junction block where the rear lines branch off. Then plug the holes in the block.

IG,

You know your farm. You know it's terrain. You know your truck. I do the same on my spread. Doing it right now, as a matter of fact. Looks like I'm losing fluid into the booster. Ran it finger dry and didn't realize it. Anyway, got parts ordered, but like you, I need my truck too!

Chap.
