Default A shocking shock question

Okay maybe not so shocking. I think I replaced shocks on my at the time 91’ now moved to my 96’ with a basic OE shock. I think they may be junk!

I was and have been looking at the Bilstein line for some time. I’ve just never wanted to spend the money. Things change.

Anyone got recommendations? What have you and do you use and what are your thoughts?

You replaced the shocks on your 1996 Ford truck with Ford shocks and think that they might be "junk". Why? Can't really give a recommendation unless it's known what you consider "junky".
