Today I had an alignment done to correct the camber issues on my 94 F150 4X4. The shop removed the stock camber bushings and replaced them with new ones. It appears the tires are still leaning out some, not as bad as before but it’s noticeable. The attached specification sheet was included with my receipt. Can any knowledgeable alignment technician here advise what was done? I have some knowledge of camber/castor, toe in/toe out but not enough to interpret what was done or if the camber needs more correction. The truck drives fairly well and doesn’t pull to the left or right but it still seems like it’s riding on a ball.
Are you lifted? They sell several different amount of camber adjustment bushings. Some are 1.2 degrees but I have seen some for sale on E-Bay that will go 2.2 degrees of adjustment, maybe some sold will go more than that. I only did a quick search. I run -1.5 degrees on my Mustang and the tires are wearing pretty even. I would ask what was the amount of adjustment for the camber bushing they installed. If this makes any sense
It looks like it has been slightly lifted with springs and a spacer. No axle drop down bracket though. The tires were leaning out at the top some. The shop did replace the camber bushing with new ones. They did straighten the camber mostly, the drivers tire seems to still have some lean. I thought the steering/handling would be better but it seems about the same. I was thinking of taking it back to the shop to see if the drivers tire could be straightened more. I suppose they did what they could.
