Need some advice
Need advice on lifting my 1992 f150. I have a 6 inch lift kit that has dropped radius arm brackets. They mount in the stock location and use the stock radius arms. I've also seen aftermarket radius arms that use the stock brackets. I'm wondering which will be better overall. Or is it even possible to find aftermarket radius arms that mount in stock location and still use the drop brackets as well. Truck will mainly be on road will see mud.
I did alignments for 25 years
You are going to want to drive the thing at 80 miles an hour when you are done
So,
Get the drop brackets for the rear radius rod mounts
Get the front axle pivot drop brackets that have the additional camber cam
Buy the best tires and shocks you can afford (tape-a-weights are hell to get big tires and wheels dynamically balanced)
Have it aligned by a Ford guy at a dealer somewhere
Enjoy
