Default Left drum dragging

I have a issue with my rear LH drum brake it is dragging. I replaced the shoes and bought new parking brake cable. I had a hard time placing tha cables in the splitter. When I push the parking brake pedal it is very though. When I ch3cked it today it was only the LH side. When you look at the spring of the cable it is very compressed.can that be that I have the wrong cable for th3 LH side? Need some advise.

Confused on which e-brake cable was replaced - the main from the pedal, the RH, or the LH side? Consider that the LH e-brake cable is stuck, too much friction for the brake springs to release, or that something else is preventing its release. Not an uncommon problem, just a chore to track down.
