Took it to the shop today, cleaned off the rear u joint and where it sits, rotated the drive shaft 90 degrees and can say it rides like a new truck now. thanks for your guys input!

 

have you checked to see if the drive shafts is out of balance, older Fords are known to have this issue. you can take it in and have it checked, or we used to just tap a grease fitting in the shift and pump in an ounce of grease, and drive to balance. if it improves your on the right track, just add a little more until she runs smooth!
