Does this look safe?
Hello all, about 2 weeks ago i installed a 2" spacer leveling kit in my 1991 f150 2wd, i put the bottom cup retainer on as it was and it just don't look right to me, not to mention the spring is off centered. what do yall think? Would flipping the cup over fix it? As I said in my last thread on the subject, please do not try to convince me to remove the kit!
thank you all in advance.

No, that looks really dangerous. That plastic spacer is not strong enough to bear the weight of the truck for very long.

I just found out that these kits are illegal in my state, but i still cannot bare to look at the 2wd stance so my next question is, do f-250 springs really create a 2inch lift effectively?

For the same reason that a Ferrari spring wouldn't make the truck more fuel-efficient, and an Escort radio won't make the truck safer: an F250 spring isn't designed, engineered, built, or intended to make an F150 sit 2" higher.
There is no inexpensive AND SAFE way to change the suspension of a truck. Changing 1 or 2 parts only makes it UNsafe (which is why it's illegal in some states, as you've discovered). Either buy a a lift SYSTEM (which is engineered for a specific amount of lift on a specific truck, and includes ALL the necessary parts), or buy a truck built at the height you want, and leave it at that stock height; or put your truck back to its stock configuration & maintain it properly. Anything else is a waste of time, effort, & money.
