I have a 94 F150 4x4 with a 6" superlift. The passenger side coil spring is hitting the shock hard enough to dent the shock in 2 places. The drivers side shock is much further away from the coil spring. Any ideas as to why? See pics.
Is that spring broke or the bucket knocked loose? It does look like the spring is sitting closer to the shock. It also looks like the spring isn't compressing straight down.
The nylon spring isolator shifted off the back of the lower mount. Not sute what would have caused that. The coils are superlift and are less than a year old so I wouldn't think that's the issue. The passenger side axle pivot bushings has a little play in it so I'm going to replace those and the nylon isolators and reposition the spring.
Thanks for the reaponses. I will post pics after new parts are on. Hopefully this weekend if weather permits.
The shock isn't bent, BUT the lower shock bushing is bad. Replacing all shocks with the other parts. Got to love pro comps lifetime warranty on shocks.
