Default Brake Fluid Level Sensor

Anyone know of a source for the brake fluid level indicator sensor/switch? 1995 F150?

Searching around local and online its as if this part never existed. Amazing I'm unable to locate any reference for this part almost as if it never existed.

It's the brake fluid pressure sensor not the level sensor. That may help in your search.

Yours appears to have a part number on it that you could cross reference but it looks the same as the 97-03 ones.

Thanks for the help.

I've seen this thing called a lot of things, add to that a cruise control switch. Was able to get the part number F3TA9F924-CA. Located a Motorcraft PN SW6350 or Ford PN 1L1Z9F924AA. Remember a decade ago had the truck at a dealer and they did something with a recall I believe this part was related. Ran across a review on O'Reilly's for the Motorcraft part aforementioned.

This may explain what appears to be non-OEM zip tie around the master cylinder holding a wire bundle in wire loom. The leak I'm experiencing is at the wire terminal connection, crazy.

Here's a review with a decent amount of related content for anyone else that comes across this component for a repair.

Amazon Amazon

Thanks again for the insight!

Yes it will deactivate your cruise control. Pressing the brake pedal spikes the pressure and cancels it. Hope you get your leak fixed! I'm wondering now if this was the issue on my 05 Explorer I used to have since the cruise would only work sometimes. If i tapped the brake and then used the toe of my shoe to pull up on it a hair I could use it again. I thought it was the brake switch but may have been this haha.

Read this page, and return to any Ford dealer today - they should replace it free, and record the repair with your VIN, so it shows up as having been properly repaired. If you DIY, it won't show as being fixed, which will hurt the value of the truck, and possibly insurance cost/coverage.
