Default Abs sensor

So I have a 95 f150 2wd converting to 4wd. I belive I have front wheel abs, I'm not sure how to check but I believe I was told this by the previous owner. However, I'm not sure if the setup I'm putting in is equipped with abs or not?!
1) How do I tell and where would the sensor be?
2) If the new setup does not have abs, is there a way to install it or can I run without it?
3) Where is the abs sensor located and what does it look like?
4) Did these trucks normally come with front or rear wheel abs?

Thanks for any and all help

Most if not all came with rear ABS - there is a sensor on the top of the rear differential, which also doubles as the vehicle speed sensor (VSS).

Front ABS is unlikely - easiest way to tell would be to look for an electrical connection going to each wheel. If all you see is the brake hose then there is no ABS up front.

Pretty sure the Broncos were the only front ends that got ABS.
