Default ABS and Brake Light On

Was out hauling a small trailer of yard waste today and braked hard a few times. Eventually I noticed that I needed to press the brake pedal a lot closer to the floor to get the truck to stop and both the ABS and Brake light came on. I did a quick check with my OBDII scanner and show no error codes but the brake fluid reservoir near the master cylinder is very low. I'm going to jack her up, pull all wheels, bleed all the fluid out, replace with new, and probably put new front pads on while I'm at it. Just thought I'd bring the issue to the forum before I get to work to see if any older, wiser truck owners than myself have any words of advice before I get started. Thanks

You blew a line. Do not drive it until you find / fix the leak. Fill it, pump it and see where the puddle ends up.

Also, uh...year, engine, etc. Basic info that should always be stated.

The ABS light and e brake light come on when low fluid is detected. Fill it up, go for a short drive, and look for any leaks. It sounds like you blew up a brake line or hose

I Would NOT advise driving it!!!! Like I said in post #2 of this thread, the leak will be obvious without driving it around, no reason to have a two ton brake less battering ram on the road.
