Having a hard time removing the rubber like that goes from the rear diff through a bulkhead type fitting that to the steel like just cant get them apart and i need to replace the steel section but cant it it to turn..any ideas? Should i order a new rubber line aswell it looks like ita crimpted to the fitting on the diff
This is the bottom of the bulk head type fitting
Top veiw of the fitting with the brake like I clearly need to replace <br/>
Where the rubber end goes onto the diff which is crimpted on one diff side and the other side stuck to truck
Any ideas or help would be much appreciated thanks
There is usually a clip holding the hose to the frame - it is on the top side (second pic). On the axle you have to remove the vent hose tube and the metal barb - the barb actually goes through the brake hose and holds it in place. After that all that is left is the stainless lines.
