Vacuum Lines

Vacuum Lines
I recently purchased a 94 F150 with the 302 in it. This truck has many issue. Mainly bought it for the cab and frame. I was planning on swapping it from the 302 to the 300 inline 6, but I want to see how long the 302 will last before I do the swap. I noticed none of the vacuum lines are hooked up nor the evap lines. I have read many forums stating it gets better fuel mileage without those system. So my question is would it be better to start deleting the the egr system, smog system, evap system or better to repair them as it came from factory?

Ask yourself: which have you observed running better? Trucks WITH all the factory systems working properly - or trucks that have been butchered by shade-tree engineers?

Okay thanks. I was figuring that putting everything back on would be best , but wasn’t to sure if I wanted to try gathering all the parts. They took the pulley off the smog pump and vacuum lines are missing or broken. Guess I’ll be going to be on the look out for everything and diagrams to where they all hook up.

What do you mean by "pills off the smog pump"? The truck's vacuum map is on the hood above the brake booster, but this one is reasonably accurate for all '87-95 Fs:

This shows the 1 evap line:

This one explains how to collect all the truck's details & put them into your signature:
